Short version: PedalKin doesn't ask for your name, doesn't use tracking cookies, and doesn't sell anything about you.

What we collect
PedalKin has no accounts, sign-ups or forms, so we don't collect your name, email or other personal details through the site.
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or follow you across other sites. It tells us things like which pages are popular, which sites sent visitors here, and the country and type of device visitors use, in totals rather than about any one person.
Services the site uses
Like most websites, PedalKin loads a few things from other services. Your browser connects to them directly, so they receive basic technical information such as your IP address:
- Cloudflare hosts the site and the map tool.
- Google Fonts provides the site's fonts.
- OpenStreetMap provides the map images on trail pages.
Each has its own privacy policy. We don't control what they collect.
Links to other sites
Our guides link to bike and gear makers and other websites. Their privacy practices are their own. If PedalKin adds affiliate links, which can earn us a commission when you buy, the store you visit may use its own cookies to know the visit came from us. We'll say so clearly on any page with those links.
Kids
PedalKin is written for parents. It isn't directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.

If you write to hello@pedalkin.com, we use your email only to reply, and we don't share it.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
